Lower Definition

This band is one of my new favorite bands. I used to HATE bands that sounded "emo" with melodic vocals and guitars that only sang a little. Now I can't stop listening to this stuff. Lower Definition's cd "The Greatest of All Lost Arts" is probably one of my favorite cds. If you are a fan of A Day To Remember, The Devil Wears Prada, Chiodos, Circa Survive, Saosin, or any bands with a similar sound, you will LOVE these guys.

Unfortunately, it seems as if this band has run its course. Most of the members quit the band, and the future is not looking bright. Please go check out this band, buy their cd and hopefully they will make a comeback if we can show them enough support.

A Day To Remember

A Day To Remember's new cd is nothing short than AMAZING. It has a ton of pop punk influence, with HEAVY breakdowns. If you liked their other cd, you will LOVE this one, definately worth picking it up for $10.

"Homesick" by A Day To Remember

Unfortunately, the cd is produced so well, their singer in real life cannot hit the singing notes as it sounds on the cd, so I would say seeing them live is not a must, but picking up the cd is!

Track listing:

The Downfall Of Us All
My Life For Hire
I'm Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?
NJ Leigon Iced Tea
Mr. Highway's Thinking About The End
Have Faith In Me
Welcome To The Family
Homesick
Holdin' It Down For The Underground
You Already Know What You Are
Another Song For The Weekend
If It Means A Lot To You

I love every song on this cd, and listened to it over 20 times in a few weeks.
Bump it loud in your car, the bass drops are wicked and the breakdowns make you want to jump up and down and bob your head

New Hardcore

There is a ton of new hardcore music that has just come out, or is coming out soon. Check out these new cds, I promise you will love them:

"With Roots Above and Branches Below" by The Devil Wears Prada
track listing:

Sassafras
I Hate Buffering
Assistant To The Reginal Manager
Dez Moines
Big Wiggly Style
Danger: Wildman
Ben Has A Kid
Wapakalypse

Lord Xenu

The cd is really technical, heavy, and melodic. If you love their old stuff, you will definately love their new stuff
